Mugi
Inspired by the artist's desire to capture heartwarming moments of her daughter lovingly caring for her pet turtle since childhood, Girl Loves Turtle follows Mugi, a bread-loving, easygoing girl, and her childhood friend Tony—a slightly lonely turtle who loves dressing up and skateboarding. Mugi always carries Tony around on top of her head, and the series depicts their gentle, healing daily life filled with simple everyday joys at a wonderfully relaxed pace.
